The Register of Deeds is a constitutional office established by the Tennessee state legislature. The register duty is to file and maintain legal documents pertaining to real property these document include warranty deeds, deeds of trust, amendments, assignments, affidavits, articles of organization, contracts, decrees, judgements, leases, subordination, release, lien, power of attorney fixture filing, quitclaim deeds, plats and other miscellaneous documents.
